Subrahmanyan, Shasthav, Guruvayoorappan, Hanuman Swami, Kandath Nair, Karuppa Swami, the Naga ganas of Nagakkavu, and Brahmarashas are the sub-deities in this Kuttichathan temple in Kerala. Devotees also pay homage to Muslim clergymen Gurukkal, Chekkuttipapa, and Manjeri Gurukkal by the special fourth Veda poojavidhi. The ancient deity Ugramurthy, Sri Kalladikkode Karineeli, and companions grant relief and solutions to sorceries for the devotees from their significant Kavu beside the Vishnumaya Chathan Temple.

In the village of Thrangali on the banks of the sacred river Bharathapuzha, our great-grandfather, Sri Velayudhan Poojari, devoted himself to and founded the Kalarikal Sri Vishnumaya temple. For many devotees, Sri Vishnumaya Chathanswamy and Velayudhan Poojari have provided the desired satisfaction and life achievements for more than a century. Following the days of his grandfather, his favorite follower, Pallam Petti, Velayudhaswamy, conducted the Upasana Pooja. Presently, the Upasana pooja is being conducted by veneration of Vinodh Kallarikkal (Unni), son of Sri Velayudha Swamy
